If you’re interested in my counselling services but not local to me, you may want to consider Skype counselling.
I have extensive experience of working with clients online, via secure video using a Skype equivalent.
For many clients, this counselling is a rich, supportive and deeply life changing process, equally valid through video as it is face to face.
Sessions run in the same way as they would face to face, usually weekly for 50 minutes, though there are some additional things to consider:
- Technology is not always reliable and there can be breaks in audio and video
- You need to be able to find a safe and confidential space for your sessions where you can’t be overheard
- For some people, coming to a private location for face to face counselling feels safer and more immediate
At our initial session we will discuss the pros and cons of working via Skype counselling. We can review your needs as we go and agree a way forward if online counselling isn’t for you.
Please note that if you are not based in the UK, contracting will be under UK law and my work is governed by a UK body, the BACP.
If you’d like to explore working online with me, please get in touch via email to arrange a free initial 15 minute consultation.
